Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD participated in the NITI Aayog - DAE Symposium “Role of SMRs in Energy Transition for India” held in Mumbai on 26th-27th November, 2022.

CMD highlighted that Nuclear will be one of the important components of Clean Energy Transition and NTPC is keen to have in its portfolio. 

He mentioned that both large scale nuclear reactors and SMRs should be pursued to accelerate India’s nuclear program.
